Duuabl Technology OÜ (reg. nr. 16845461), Veerenni 40a, Tallinn, Estonia (“Duuabl”, “we”, “our”) operates duuabl.com and the Duuabl platform. This policy explains how we handle your personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and the UK GDPR.

What We Collect

The data we collect depends on how you interact with us:

Waitlist and contact forms: name, email address.
Platform accounts (when launched): business name, contact details, trade category, service area, and operational data needed to run the Platform.
End customers of Platform users: contact details and job request information submitted through microsites or customer portals.
Automatically: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies. See the Cookies section below.

How We Use It

To send you waitlist updates and launch notifications (with your consent).
To provide and operate the Platform, including quoting, job management, invoicing, payments, customer portals, and the tenant referral network.
To power AI-assisted features such as quote generation and material estimation. AI outputs are suggestions only — no automated decisions with legal effect are made without human involvement. Training data is anonymised and aggregated.
To improve the Platform through usage analytics.
To comply with legal and tax obligations.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

With service providers who help us operate (hosting, Stripe for payments, email/SMS delivery, analytics). All are bound by data processing agreements.
Between Platform users and their end customers as needed to deliver services (quotes, job updates, invoices, referrals — with customer consent for referrals).
Where required by law.
In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition), with prior notice.

International Transfers

Duuabl is based in Estonia and serves users in Canada and the UK. Data may be transferred between these jurisdictions. Canada and the UK are recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate data protection. Where data is transferred to other jurisdictions, we use EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data Retention

Waitlist data: until you unsubscribe or 12 months after last interaction.
Active accounts: for the duration of the account.
After account closure: core records retained up to 3 years for legal purposes. Financial records retained 7 years per tax law.
Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@duuabl.com. You can also withdraw consent, object to processing, or request data portability. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security monitoring. Payment processing is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified). No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The Platform is intended for use by adults operating trades businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. For significant changes, we will notify users by email.
